Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love acting in the Preparatory school, after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the late 1970s. She attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre at Northwestern University. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a short time. Then she moved to television and film. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was another of her characters. Gunn has also appeared on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the audio drama podcast series of four parts called Numbered Days, which was made available in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final end reflect the final decades in the story of Walter White.
